Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our MedSurg team on a full time basis. The RN will provide direct patient care, collaborate with providers and staff, and ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to medical and surgical patients across the lifespan.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient condition and response to treatment.
- Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and hospital policy.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred (or ability to obtain).
- MedSurg or acute care experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.
