Position Overview
Sheridan Community Hospital is seeking a skilled and motivated Cardiology Physician Assistant (PA-C) with surgical first assist experience to join our growing cardiovascular program. This position offers the opportunity to practice at the top of your license in a collaborative, mission-driven environment serving a close-knit community. This position will begin at 30 hours per week and anticipation of growth into a full time position.
The PA will work closely with out cardiology and surgical team providing perioperative, procedural, and outpatient cardiology support..

Responsibilities
- Conduct history & physicals and diagnostic evaluations
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologists
- Serve as surgical first assist in cardiac and vascular procedures
- Provide post-operative care and discharge planning
- Assist with stress testing, device checks, and other cardiology procedures a applicable
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
NCCPA certified PAC
Licensed or eligible for licensure in Michigan
DEA license or eligible
BLS and ACLS required
12 years cardiology and or surgical first assist experience required
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in a rural setting
