Sheren Plumbing & Heating is hiring an HVAC & Plumbing Apprentice to support commercial mechanical construction projects throughout Traverse City and Northern Michigan.

Your New Role
- Assist HVAC technicians, plumbers, and mechanical installers on commercial projects
- Help install piping, mechanical equipment, HVAC systems, and plumbing systems
- Use hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment
- Move, stage, and organize materials, equipment, and jobsite supplies
- Perform general apprentice and construction duties
- Follow jobsite safety procedures and instructions
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and jobsite conditions
- Travel to jobs throughout Traverse City and the surrounding Northern Michigan service area

Job requirements
- At least 1 year of HVAC, plumbing, construction, landscaping, farming, automotive, mechanical, or other hands-on work experience
- Direct HVAC or plumbing experience is preferred but not required
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools
- Ability to perform the physical duties required for construction and mechanical work
- Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures
- Dependable attendance and consistent work habits
- Willingness to learn HVAC, plumbing, piping, and mechanical installation
- Ability to work throughout Traverse City and the surrounding service area
