Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will serve as the face of our company, providing exemplary customer service to guests, both in person and over the phone. This role requires a person who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle the responsibilities associated with being the first point of contact for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Manage reservations and handle inquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Process guest payments and manage cash and credit transactions
- Maintain an organized and tidy front desk area
- Assist guests with any special requests or needs during their stay
- Collaborate effectively with other departments to enhance the guest experience
- Address and resolve guest complaints in a professional manner
- Provide information about the hotel, its amenities, and local attractions
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations in a calm manner
- Proficiency in using computer systems and reservation software
- A flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- A high school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality education is a plus
