Summary of Job Description
As a Reservations and Revenue Coordinator, you will provide direction to property teams to identify and capitalize on potential revenue opportunities. Your role involves supporting the team daily in achieving both long-term and short-term goals through accurate forecasting, system reporting, and analytical tools. You play a crucial part in maximizing the hotel’s total revenue and profitability by delivering data-driven insights and strategic recommendations. Your expertise ensures effective decision-making and optimizes financial performance, contributing significantly to the hotel's success.
The hourly rate for this position is $21.50 per hour.
Experience
- 2-4 years of progressive experience in customer service in Guest Services or Reservations
- Prior hospitality experience preferred; supervisory or management experience is a plus.
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; able to type 45 wpm.
- Experience with Marriott Revenue systems strongly preferred.
- Experience in e-commerce preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong technical and analytical skill set.
- Proven ability to learn new systems quickly.
Work Hours
- Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs.
- Scheduling includes holidays, nights, overnights, and weekends depending on hotel events and functions.
Job Requirements
- Understand the mission, vision, and goals of the hotel.
- Must be able to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision.
- Requires effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to handle cash and balance cash drawer required.
- Strong team player, able to partner with management and other employees in a professional manner.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the accurate preparation of all Revenue Management reports, including market segmentation, production analysis, source contribution, daily pick-up, and pace summaries.
- Conduct regular audits of Online Travel Agency’s (OTAs) content to ensure accuracy and consistency across all channels.
- Attend and actively participate in weekly meetings.
- Prepare meeting packets, record detailed meeting minutes, and lead follow-up actions as required.
- Manage IT support tickets, create and maintain rate codes, and generate and validate analytical reports.
- Audit and accurately enter all third-party reservations into the PMS system.
- Provide support to the Group Housing team, particularly with SMERF group bookings.
- Carries out supervisor requests in accordance with hotel policies and standard operating procedures.
- Follow 4 Keys service standards, standard operation procedures, and safety standards.
- Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve all standards of operations.
- Follow safety and security procedures.
- Work cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a team.
- Adhere to attendance and reliability standards.
- Follow all additional duties as assigned by management.
