What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwashers (AM & PM) position at Sheraton Greensboro?
Now seeking 1st and 2nd Shift Dishwashers!
Morning shift starts at 5:30/6:00AM
Evening starts at 3:00
(start and end times may vary some based on the business)
Must be able to work weekends!
Duties include:
- Washing, stacking, sorting, and storing dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware.
- Maintaining a clean kitchen and keeping dish area organized and free of clutter.
- Settings up dish stations, including dishwashing machines and sinks.
- Maintaining clean, dry floors throughout the shift.
- Cleaning and sanitizing storage areas, including freezers and refrigerators.
- Assisting in storing food deliveries.
- Monitoring trash cans throughout shift, making sure to remove full trashcans and boxes as needed and at the end of each shift.
- Following sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Assisting with closing, including aiding in the sanitation of cooking and food preparation stations.
- Prior kitchen experience
- Weekend availability
- Ability to life heavy dish trays
- Must be able to stand for long periods
- Should be a team player with a strong work ethic
- Must be organized with good attention to detail
