Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing floors to maintain cleanliness and appearance.
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure a hygienic environment in all areas.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely to clean surfaces, carpets, and upholstery.
• Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or large items with proper technique to prevent injury.
• Maintain organization of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used correctly and stored safely.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service while respecting their privacy.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial or custodial roles preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, floor care, and surface cleaning techniques.
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, and floor buffers confidently.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and chemicals, including proper handling and safety protocols.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
• Physical stamina for outdoor work experience, heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
• Effective client communication skills to ensure satisfaction and address any special requests or concerns.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
