The ideal candidate is results-driven, relationship-focused, and experienced in hotel sales within a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue goals for rooms, meetings, and events
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities including corporate accounts, group bookings, and social events
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, local businesses, and key accounts
- Conduct site tours, client presentations, and sales calls (both in-person and virtual)
- Manage RFPs, proposals, contract negotiations, and closing of group and event business
- Collaborate with revenue management to optimize pricing, inventory, and forecasting strategies
- Partner with marketing to promote hotel offerings, packages, and special promotions
- Work closely with operations and events teams to ensure seamless execution and high guest satisfaction
- Attend industry events, networking functions, and local business meetings to generate leads
- Maintain accurate records in STR systems and provide regular sales reports and forecasts
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- 3 years of hotel sales experience, preferably in a full-service or branded hotel environment
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong knowledge of group sales, corporate accounts, and event planning processes
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency with hotel sales systems (e.g., Delphi, Lightspeed, or similarCi-Ty /PMS tools)
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments
