Job Title: Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) / Medical Lab Technician (MLT)- Microbiology
Location: Glenwood Springs, CO
Shift: 4-10's Weekdays, 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM
Contract: 13 weeks
Pay details:
Taxable pay: $1200/weekly
Non-taxable pay: $1246/weekly
Gross pay: $2446/weekly
Required:
collect and receive specimens for testing, carry out chemical, microscopic, bacteriologic, and other medical laboratory tests, and operate both manual and automated lab equipment to analyze specimens.CANDIDATE MUST HAVE MICROBIOLOGY AND MEDITECH EXPERIENCEMinimum 5 years microbiology plate reading experience and/ or microbiology supervisory experienceGreat schedule! 4-10's Weekdays, no weekends, no call.Requirements:Medical Technician (ASCP):Associate degree Current Medical Technician Registration by ASCP or AMTMedical Lab Scientist (Technologist) (ASCP):Bachelor's DegreeCurrent Medical Technology Registration by ASCP or AMTSKILLS/EXPERIENCE:Two (2) year experience as a Medical Lab Scientist (Technologist)/Technician
Pay: $2,446.00 per week
Experience:
- MICROBIOLOGY AND MEDITECH : 5 years (Required)
- microbiology plate reading: 5 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- ASCP or AMT Certification (Required)
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
