We are looking for an Account Executive who can open doors, understand workforce needs, and turn opportunities into lasting client relationships. Your primary responsibility is to win new business, convert staffing requests into active assignments, and grow profitable accounts.
You will work closely with leadership, recruiting, and operations to ensure the commitments we make to clients translate into successful workforce delivery.
What You Will Do
- Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through proposals, negotiations, signed agreements, and the first staffing assignment.
- Generate new business through targeted calls, emails, referrals, networking, industry events, and visits to prospective clients.
- Build relationships with plant managers, operations leaders, HR teams, contractors, and project managers to understand current and upcoming workforce needs.
- Define staffing requirements, including roles, headcount, skills, shifts, locations, start dates, assignment duration, and site requirements.
- Prepare proposals and negotiate bill rates and service terms within approved pricing and margin guidelines.
- Coordinate with recruiting and operations to confirm delivery capacity, communicate client expectations, and support a clear handoff.
- Stay engaged after workers begin assignments, address concerns with the appropriate team, and identify opportunities to support additional roles, projects, or locations.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, clear next steps, and realistic forecasts for new business and account growth.
What Success Looks Like
- New clients that become active, revenue-generating staffing accounts.
- Profitable growth measured through sales, gross profit, and active assignments against agreed targets.
- A qualified pipeline with clear decision-makers, staffing needs, and purchasing timelines.
- Repeat business and account expansion supported by dependable service and strong client relationships.
What You Bring
- Three or more years of B2B sales experience, or an equivalent record of personally sourcing and closing new business.
- Experience selling staffing, recruiting, workforce solutions, or business services to construction, manufacturing, or industrial customers.
- Strong prospecting, discovery, presentation, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to understand staffing costs, bill rates, and gross margins when developing proposals.
- A practical, collaborative approach to setting client expectations and working with recruiting and operations.
- Strong organization, consistent CRM use, and the ability to manage multiple opportunities independently.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, facility visits, and industry events.
Preferred Experience
- Success selling skilled trades, light industrial, manufacturing, or construction staffing.
- Established relationships with contractors, manufacturers, or industrial employers.
- Experience growing accounts across multiple projects or locations.

- Commission: Additional earnings based on sales performance under the company’s commission plan.
