Job Summary
The Payroll Analyst I is responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately, on time, and in compliance with applicable laws and internal policies across U.S. and international locations. This role manages end-to-end payroll processing, reconciles payroll reports and funding, and partners closely with HR and Finance to resolve discrepancies. The Payroll Analyst I also analyzes payroll data to identify trends, strengthen controls, improve efficiency, and support informed decision-making. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, service-oriented, and committed to accuracy, confidentiality, and continuous improvement.
Essential Functions
Education
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or higher
Major (if applicable): Accounting, Finance, Business, or HR, plus relevant experience
License and Certification
Preferred: CPP, CIPP, or FPC
Computer/Software Knowledge
Required: Proficiency in UltiPro (UKG), ADP Global, ProPay, HRIS systems, and Excel/Word

- Ensure accurate, timely and compliant payroll processing for international and US employees while managing regulatory compliance.
- Process payroll in accordance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Analytical Skills, Attention to Detail, Technical Proficiency, Communication Skills.

Work Environment
- Working indoors with limited exposure to hazards (only those that customarily come up in working in an office building with multiple floors).
- This position requires that you work physically in our Los Angeles office Monday through Friday.
- Access will be by stairs or elevator.
- Occasional overtime will be required.
