Storefront Glass Technician

Pay is negotiable upon interview. Starting pay for applicants with glazing experience begin at $25.00 an hour.

Experience preferred! Family-owned company hiring Storefront Glass Glazier. Will be responsible for cutting, installing, repairing and maintaining glass storefronts for commercial properties. Proven experience as a glass technician or similar role. May be required to work in surrounding cities.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Storefront Glass Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and replacing commercial glass systems, including storefronts, doors, and windows. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Install and replace storefront glass, curtain walls, and aluminum framing systems
• Measure, cut, and fit glass to specifications
• Repair broken or damaged glass and hardware
• Install door closers, hinges, locks, and other hardware
• Load, transport, and handle glass materials safely
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in commercial glass installation (preferred)
• Knowledge of storefront systems and glazing techniques
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and work at heights
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
