What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intake Specialist, Residential Treatment position at Sheppard Pratt?
The Adult Residential Treatment Center (RTC) provides services for persons ages 18 and older with serious mental illness, including individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders or development disabilities. Our teams craft individualized plans for the residents to reach the highest level of recovery possible.
This role has the flexibility to work out of one of our RTC locations in Towson or Frederick, MD.

This is a direct care opportunity to exercise your independent judgement and assess and enroll clients in the appropriate services when they first enter the Adult RTC program. Your efforts will be a part of ensuring a successful transition for each client into the program.

- Educating clients and families/support systems about available services.
- Providing linkages to outside providers as needed.
- Performing administrative tasks related to internal and external enrollment requirements.

What we need from you.
- Must have either:
- A high school diploma or GED and two years of experience
- A bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
- A driver's license with 3 points or less and access to an insured vehicle.
