General Summary:
- The Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy and performance of revenue cycle data and technology systems.
- Utilizes business systems analysis skills to develop and enhance revenue cycle functions, improve report generation for analysis, and achieve other organizational goals and objectives.
- Serves as the technical liaison with Information Technology and other Sheppard Pratt operational areas on behalf of revenue cycle to affect drive system enhancements and change and process improvements.
- Provides training to revenue cycle staff for all computer systems and applications.
- Represents revenue cycle in assessing the suitability and performance of software applications for the department.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ direct work experience utilizing systems workflows, system analysis and documentation in a healthcare setting. Experience must include:
- Demonstrated proficiency and understanding of applications/workflows and system implementations.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- A general understanding of the overall operations of an enterprise class health care service provider and the functions of the revenue cycle.
- Experience with Athena/IDC is strongly preferred.
- Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to train others.
- Proven customer focus as demonstrated by professional demeanor, positive attitude and service orientation.
- Proven collaboration skills and experience working in a team-oriented environment, and the ability to effectively interface and build professional working relationships with all levels of employees including staff, senior leaders, and providers.
- Requires proven analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced changing environment, with demanding timeframes.

The pay range for this position is $54,074.18 minimum to $83,510.75 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.
