What are the responsibilities and job description for the SCHOOL BUS DRIVER position at SHEPPARD BUS SERVICE INC?

- Drive School Bus Routes and Trips when needed with but not limited to, Pre-K Students, Handicapped Students, Behavioral Students, adult clients, and Wheelchair Students. Move vehicles if needed.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip
- Ability to complete route descriptions and updates.
- Clear bus at the end of each route to ensure that no student/client is on the bus.
- Clean vehicles including, but not limited to, sweeping, wiping down driver area, cleaning windows, and student/client areas.
- Fuel any and all vehicles.
- Passenger management i.e. write referrals, learn student names, courteous with school staff, parents and students.
- Be able to operate wheelchair lift and wheelchair securements.
- Knowledge of installation of special equipment not limited to harness and car seat.
Requirements:
- 21 years or older
- Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check and DOT physical
Salary : $26 - $28
