Position Overview
The Worship Media Producer supports the life of worship at Shepherd of the Hills through visual and digital media. This role plays a key part in Sunday morning worship and livestream services by preparing worship presentations, creating digital bulletins, designing seasonal graphics, and producing short video content. The ideal candidate brings technical skill, visual awareness, and a collaborative spirit to help enhance the congregation’s worship experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage weekly worship presentations using Proclaim
- Create and maintain the digital PDF worship bulletin for online and media use
- Design thematic graphics for liturgical seasons and special services
- Produce short, high-quality video segments for worship as directed by pastors and the worship team
- Ensure worship visuals are clear, readable, and consistent in style
- Operate or oversee media presentations during worship services
- Supervise and support volunteer A/V team members on Sunday mornings
- Collaborate with pastors and worship staff in weekly planning meetings
- Support special services such as Christmas, Holy Week, weddings, and funerals as needed
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency with Proclaim software or willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail, with solid writing and editing skills
- Experience or interest in graphic design and video production
- Basic technical and computer skills related to worship media and presentation
- Understanding of Christian worship flow and liturgy; familiarity with ELCA worship is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a friendly, professional presence, especially on Sunday mornings
