Elementary School Teacher (Full-Time)

Shepherd Christian School is seeking a passionate, Christ-centered elementary teacher to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who loves Jesus, loves children, and is committed to partnering with families to provide an exceptional Christian education.

Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
* Create a positive, structured classroom environment.
* Integrate biblical truth into every subject.
* Foster strong relationships with students and parents.
* Assess student progress and communicate regularly with families.
* Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership.
* Participate in school events, chapel, and professional development.
Qualifications
* A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with biblical values.
* Passion for Christian education and child development.
* Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (teaching experience preferred).
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a ministry-minded team.
* Virginia teaching license or willingness to obtain one is a plus.

Location
This is an in-person position at our campus in Northern Virginia. Because of the collaborative nature of our school, we are seeking candidates who are currently living in or planning to relocate to the Northern Virginia area and are available for regular on-campus teaching.
