What You’ll Do
As the Scheduling Coordinator, you’ll be the organizational heartbeat of our donor services team. You’ll:
- Create and manage daily, weekly, and monthly staff schedules for both fixed sites and mobile blood drives.
- Adjust schedules in real-time to accommodate staff availability and operational needs.
- Communicate updates clearly and professionally to team members.
- Collaborate with leadership and other departments to ensure optimal staffing and compliance.
- Support onboarding, training, and quality assurance efforts within the Donor Services department.
- Occasionally assist with donor registration and screening.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 3–5 years of progressive management experience. Blood center and phlebotomy experience are a plus!
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Proficiency in typing (35 WPM) and scheduling software.
- Ability to train and support staff while maintaining compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and insurability under company policy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied environments, including mobile units.
