To support our continued growth, we are building M Academy — a role-based training institution that powers advisor development and operational excellence across the organization.
We are seeking a Director of Learning Architecture to design, build, and manage our enterprise-wide training platform.
Position Summary
The Director of Learning Architecture serves as the architect and leader of the M Academy learning ecosystem. This role translates internal knowledge into scalable training programs, builds curriculum and certification pathways, and owns our learning management system (LMS). The ideal candidate is equal parts instructional designer, LMS strategist, and cross-department collaborator.
What You’ll DoTraining System Design
- Build the structure and curriculum for M Academy across role-based learning tracks
- Convert institutional knowledge into organized, multi-level training modules
- Develop videos, assessments, simulations, and certification pathways
LMS Ownership
- Serve as primary administrator of a modern LMS (Docebo strongly preferred)
- Manage catalogs, user roles, reporting dashboards, and certification logic
- Ensure governance, version control, content tagging, and compliance alignment
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work directly with subject matter experts in planning, underwriting, premium finance, operations, wealth management, and marketing
- Integrate Salesforce and workflow triggers into training delivery
- Maintain consistent brand voice and structure across training content
Advisor Development
- Build competency models and onboarding pathways
- Track training progress, proficiency scoring, and readiness indicators
- Support leadership on certification, promotion, and performance development
What We’re Looking For Experience
- 7–15 years in corporate learning, instructional design, or LMS architecture
- Financial services, life insurance, or home office training experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to build training systems — not just individual courses
Technical Skills
- Mastery of modern LMS platforms (Docebo, Cornerstone, Absorb, LearnUpon, etc.)
- Familiarity with SCORM/xAPI and content authoring tools
- Salesforce integration experience a major plus
