Executive Chef/Kitchen Manager

Job Overview

Shenvalee Golf Resort is a premier golf resort known for our scenic golf course, tight-knit community, and relaxed southern hospitality. We are seeking a passionate, people first Executive Chef/Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team. You will oversee our club restaurant, casual patio dining, and banquet catering for seasonal tournaments. You will run all kitchen operations. This year-round role blends culinary skill with sharp business management, but above all, requires exceptional team leadership. You will cultivate a positive, organized, and collaborative kitchen culture while managing menus, food costs, and daily operations. Duties:

• Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a dedicated kitchen crew
• Maintain high morale, foster open communication, and lead by example on the line
• Create fresh, seasonal menus for daily dining and special resort events
• Manage food/labor costs, inventory, and vendor relationships to hit budget goals
• Ensure full compliance with all local health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years minimum as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager
• Proven ability to build, retain, and develop a kitchen team
• Experience in a golf club, resort, or banquet setting is preferred
• Strong inventory control, menu costing, and effective staff scheduling
• ServSafe Manager certification required
