We are currently looking for an antibody development scientist to join our interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities:
- Design T-cell engagers and execute their development and optimization campaigns.
- Work with internal and external team on antibody discovery, characterization, and production.
- Drive developability and manufacturability assessments.
- Manage external relationships and deliverables.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with computational scientists and immunologists to optimize and validate candidate molecules through iterative engineering and in vitro/in vivo studies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- PhD in Structure biology, Protein engineering, Biochemistry, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or a related field, with 4 years industry experience or postdoctoral training leading cross-functional projects and having delivered results (direct contributions to a drug candidate).
- Strong background in protein engineering and antibody development with a focus on bispecific or multispecific antibodies.
- Extensive experience in bispecific antibody production and developability optimization.
- Hands-on experience designing and advancing T cell engagers or multispecific antibodies.
- Experience with antibody discovery/engineering using phage/yeast display.
- Knowledge of T cell biology and T cell activation mechanisms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, take initiative, and drive projects forward independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation:
- $120,000 - $160,000 (depending on the depth of expertise) 10% performance bonus equity.
