We are seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our Attorneys with case preparation and management,ensuring that our clients receive the best possible representation.
- Daily phone back up
- Medical record management ,order, retrieval, and review and summarize medical records
- Scan, organize and maintain case files in client management software to ensure files are accurately up to date
- Communication with clients, medical providers, insurance companies and opposing counsel
- Initiate, manage and resolve health insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and other case related liens
- Assist Attorney (s) in managing personal injury cases from intake to resolution
- Draft and send professional correspondence
- Draft ,prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Schedule depositions ,hearings, and other case-related events
- Manage and meet deadlines for statutes of limitations and other case related filings
- Support in mediation and trial preparation, including exhibit organization of witnesses
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a personal injury paralegal
- Associate or bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or related field(or equivalent experience)
- Must possess the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage a workload with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail- oriented
- Highly organized
- Excellent expertise in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Knowledge and proficiency in case management software
- Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment
