What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Shenanigans Bar & Grill?
Willing to train the right candidate with no bartending experience
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- 2 years or more of Bartending / Serving Experience ( Preferred)
- Self-starter who is highly motivated to succeed
- Outgoing personality with a positive attitude
- Has a professional demeanor and excellent work ethic
- Must be trustworthy and punctual
- Must have reliable transportation
Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks;
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies;
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails;
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience;
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age;
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations;
- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude;
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons;
- Issue bills and accept payment;
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff;
- Plan and present bar menu;
- Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products;
- Preparing restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order;
- Take and serve orders.
Requirements:
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean;
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills;
- Serving It Right;
- Computer literacy.
