Our team houses pediatric speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and occupational therapy assistants.
Purpose-driven, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable pediatric speech-language pathologist clinical fellowship year candidates are invited to apply to join our team! Pediatric experience is preferred. We are located in Winchester, VA
HOURS NEEDED: We are open Monday through Thursday 8-7 and Fridays 8-12. We prefer someone who can work until 7 PM at least a few days weekly, but are flexible with hours.
Responsibilities:
Serving a caseload of children and their families with a wide range of disabilities and disorders
Evaluations
Attend meetings with supervisor, team meetings, and department meetings.
Requirements:
Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
VA and WV state license for Speech Language Pathology (or in process)
Positive, compassionate personality
CPR certification
CE Maintenance annually
Current knowledge of treatment practices
Drive to continually learn and grow

Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Excellent written and verbal skills, attention to detail
Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
Create fitness and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs

Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
Consult and practice with other health professionals
Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
Complete necessary documentation in a timely fashion
