Shenandoah Senior Living Center is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON RN) to join our skilled nursing facility in Shenandoah, PA.
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Daytime | On-Call as Needed
Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Nursing Service Department.
Audit nursing documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and support holistic resident care.
Make daily rounds to observe and evaluate the care provided to residents.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality resident care.
Maintain infection control practices and documentation for staff and residents.
Ensure appropriate education and training are provided as needed in collaboration with the management team.
Support the Director of Nursing and nursing leadership team in maintaining quality standards and regulatory compliance.
Assist with the overall coordination and supervision of nursing services.
Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Minimum of supervisory or nursing leadership experience in a long-term care setting.
Experience working with the geriatric population in a long-term care environment.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
Knowledge of skilled nursing regulations, infection prevention, and quality-of-care standards.
