Full-Time Licensed Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) - Harrisonburg, VA

Shenandoah Psychological Services, a thriving outpatient private practice in Harrisonburg, VA, is seeking a dedicated and licensed professional counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic group practice as a full-time W-2 employee.

Compensation:

• Total Estimated Earnings: $85,000 – $110,000 / year (Base Performance Bonuses) *Note: This estimated range is based on the actual current earnings of our full-time clinical staff.
• Guaranteed Minimum Salary: $52,000 / year
• Employer-Paid Taxes & Benefits: $15,500 – $24,000 / year in additional value (on top of earnings above). As a W-2 practice, we cover your employer payroll taxes (saving you thousands compared to a 1099 role) and provide $0-deductible Platinum health insurance coverage, 401(k) matching, $100k life insurance, and Psychology Today reimbursement.

Position Details & Expectations:

• Caseload Requirement: Target 24 direct billable hours per week while working (equivalent to ~1,068 annual billable hours). Because your schedule factors in ~7.5 weeks of annual leave, you only hit this 24-hour expectation during your ~44.5 working weeks. You are never required to work 52 weeks a year or "make up" hours after taking time off!
• Flexible Hybrid Options: Provide therapy via in-person sessions at our Harrisonburg office and/or telehealth. (Must be available in-office at least 4 days per week).
• Schedule Control: Choose your working days/times and tailor your caseload around your clinical expertise and interests.
• Single EHR System: Integrated platform for scheduling, notes, and billing with no need to juggle multiple software tools.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Current, active license in the state of Virginia as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LCP (required).
• Education: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Attributes: Motivated, collaborative, and committed to best clinical and regulatory practices.
• Background Check: Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with state/local regulations.
