Position Summary:
Shema Kolainu – Hear Our Voices (SKHOV) is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide Early Intervention (EI) services on a per diem basis to children aged birth to 3 years in the Bronx, NY. Therapy is provided in homes, daycares, schools, or other natural learning environments.
This is a flexible, part-time opportunity to support children with speech and language delays and empower families through evidence-based, play-centered intervention.

Shema Kolainu – Hear Our Voices (SKHOV) is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide Early Intervention (EI) services on a per diem basis to children aged birth to 3 years in the Bronx, NY. Therapy is provided in homes, daycares, schools, or other natural learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to infants and toddlers under NYC’s Early Intervention Program.
- Address communication delays, including expressive/receptive language, articulation, feeding, oral-motor skills, and pre-verbal skills.
- Use play-based, culturally responsive methods tailored to each child’s developmental level and IFSP goals.
- Collaborate with caregivers, EI service coordinators, and other providers to ensure coordinated care.
- Conduct evaluations and ongoing assessments; maintain clear and timely documentation of sessions, progress notes, and reports.
- Travel within the Bronx to provide services in a variety of natural settings (home, center, or school).
- Current NYS license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and ASHA CCCs.
- Must be certified with NY Early Intervention (EI) Program or eligible to enroll.
- Experience working with children birth to 3 years old and their families, preferably in EI.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
- Must be willing to travel to cases within the Bronx.
- Per diem / flexible part-time schedule.
- Sessions typically 30 minutes each.
- Competitive pay – generally between $60–$70 per session, depending on experience and location.
