Position Summary:
Shema Kolainu – Hear Our Voices (SKHOV) is seeking a New York State-licensed Physical Therapist to provide Early Intervention (EI) services to children (birth to age 3) in Queens, NY. Services may be delivered in homes, daycare centers, or school settings, based on each child’s IFSP (Individualized Family Service Plan).
This is a per diem position offering flexibility and the opportunity to work directly with families to support developmental progress in young children with physical and motor delays.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized physical therapy to infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities.
- Focus on improving gross motor skills, balance, posture, coordination, and mobility in daily environments.
- Work collaboratively with families and caregivers to teach exercises and strategies that encourage skill development and carryover at home.
- Participate in the implementation of IFSP goals, collaborating with other service providers as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Conduct standardized assessments, maintain timely and accurate documentation of each session, and track progress.
- Provide therapy in various natural environments throughout Queens, including homes, schools, and centers.
- Current New York State licensure and registration as a Physical Therapist (required).
- Experience working with children ages 0–3, preferably within the Early Intervention system.
- Understanding of child motor development, sensory integration, and family-centered therapeutic models.
- Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Must be able to travel to cases across Queens.
- Per diem (flexible part-time hours).
- Cases assigned based on your availability and location preferences within Queens.
- Sessions typically run in 30-minute units.
- Competitive rates, generally $57–$65 per session, depending on experience.
