Occupational Therapist (Early Intervention)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and provide high-quality therapy services to children from birth to age 3 through the NYC Early Intervention (EI) Program. Services are delivered in natural environments such as homes and daycares throughout The Bronx.

The NYC Early Intervention Program is a federally mandated program that supports infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities and their families. As an OT on our team, you’ll play a critical role in helping children achieve developmental milestones and improve their functional skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive developmental evaluations and assessments for children ages 0–3.
• Deliver direct, play-based occupational therapy services in natural settings (e.g., home, daycare, community).
• Develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) with measurable, family-centered goals.
• Collaborate closely with families, service coordinators, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Participate in IFSP meetings and provide professional input on child development goals.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with NYC DOH and EI guidelines.
• Adhere to all Medicaid billing protocols and documentation standards.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current New York State license and registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• NBCOT certification (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy).
• Approved provider in the NYC Early Intervention Program or eligibility to become one.
• Preferred: Experience working with infants/toddlers (0–3) in home or community settings.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the Bronx.
