We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) or COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) to join our team and provide high-quality therapy services to children from birth to age 3 through the NYC Early Intervention (EI) Program.
Work Hours: At our Brooklyn Center - 2-3 days a week -either 8:00-3:00 or 9:00-3:30

As an OT on our team, you’ll play a critical role in helping children achieve developmental milestones and improve their functional skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive developmental evaluations and assessments for children ages 0–3.
- Deliver direct, play-based occupational therapy services in natural settings (e.g., home, daycare, community).
- Develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) with measurable, family-centered goals.
- Collaborate closely with families, service coordinators, and multidisciplinary team members.
- Participate in IFSP meetings and provide professional input on child development goals.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with NYC DOH and EI guidelines.
- Adhere to all Medicaid billing protocols and documentation standards.
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current New York State license and registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- NBCOT certification (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy).
- Approved provider in the NYC Early Intervention Program or eligibility to become one.
- Preferred: Experience working with infants/toddlers (0–3) in home or community settings.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the Bronx.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trust with families.
- In-depth knowledge of child development and early childhood milestones.
- Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse populations and communities.
- Self-directed, organized, and comfortable working independently in the field.
