We are seeking a skilled Ecommerce Merchandiser to create exceptional online shopping experiences across our websites, Shelving.com and TheShelvingStore.com. This role is responsible for managing accurate product content and strategic presentation to drive sales, enhance the customer experience, and support overall business objectives. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with proven product data management skills and in-depth knowledge of Shopify. This is a full-time, onsite position based at our Madison Heights, MI office.

Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain product collections and listings across all ecommerce platforms
- Own the product load process for new launches and pricing changes
- Create and optimize product detail pages including titles, descriptions, images, attributes, specifications, pricing, availability, and shipping information
- Apply inventory status notifications and remove discontinued products for accurate availability
- Conduct site audits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of product content
- Collaborate with customer service, marketing, and sales teams to align merchandising initiatives and identify growth opportunities
- Support SEO initiatives through keyword-optimized collection and product content
- Analyze KPIs and metrics to establish and refine revenue-driving merchandising strategies
- Monitor competitor activity, industry trends, and customer preferences to inform merchandising decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5 years of experience in ecommerce merchandising or product content management utilizing Shopify
- Proficiency with MS Office/365, particularly Excel for data management
- Familiarity with HTML, SEO best practices, and keyword research tools
- High attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and consistency
- Excellent written communication skills for creating clear, customer-focused product content
- Flexible and resourceful problem-solver who leverages multiple resources to find effective solutions
- Strong organization and time-management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with customer service, operations, marketing, and sales teams
