Start Date: As soon as possible.
Schedule: 260 days per year (year round), M-F, 8 hours per day.
Salary: $35.03-$42.05, depending on experience
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Summary:
The Technology Support Specialist II supports Shelton School District's Strategic Plan by supporting and troubleshooting technology for staff and students in multiple locations throughout the District.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two years college, vocational, or technical training in computer hardware, software and/or network systems. Experience may be substituted for formal training.
- Possession of a valid Washington State Driver's License and ability to travel between buildings in a personal vehicle.
- Experience supporting Office 365.
- Experience working in an educational environment and with Chromebooks preferred (not required).
- Possession of excellent communication skills including active listening, two-way communication, and the use of the appropriate communication channels.

Essential Functions:
- Utilizes the District technology ticketing system to provide technology customer support to staff and students for both hardware and applications.
- Coordinates the services for classrooms and office technology equipment in assigned buildings.
- Provides user support for District employees and students.
- Performs repairs on computers and other technology hardware.
- Images computers for students and staff.
- Maintains the district hardware and software inventory for assigned buildings.
- Assists in staff training of technology.
- Attends trainings and meetings as directed or appropriate.
- Develops and maintains professional, positive relationships with staff and students.
- Collaborates with technology department, building administrators, and building staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
