- Adapt teaching methods and instructional modifications to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities and those requiring special education support.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive, respectful, and productive learning environment.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers on curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional strategies aligned with educational standards.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance, behavioral updates, and progress toward academic goals.
- Analyze student performance data to inform instructional decisions and support continuous improvement.
- Implement literacy education, math instruction, and other core subjects while integrating music or arts when appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with educational regulations and standards while maintaining high-quality teaching practices.
- Support students' social-emotional development by fostering a nurturing classroom atmosphere that respects cultural diversity.
Experience
- Proven classroom teaching experience in elementary or primary education settings.
- Demonstrated success working with children of diverse cultural backgrounds and varying learning needs.
- Experience utilizing LMS platforms and integrating learning technology into daily instruction.
- Background in special education or experience working with students with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, implementation, and assessment methods including standardized testing.
- Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and instructional modifications.
- Prior experience in private schools or Montessori settings is a plus.
- Ability to adapt lessons for different learning styles while maintaining high standards of literacy education, math instruction, and overall student engagement.
