Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a Rehab Tech Secretary to join the team at our Short Pump Outpatient Center location. Under the direct supervision of a therapist, the Rehab Tech Secretary provides patient care and assistance including, but not limited to, patient transport, ADLs, transfers, strengthening, mobility, assist with leisure participation, and ambulation tasks. Takes responsibility to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Provides assistance to therapists through direct care and delegated tasks. This position also assists with patient registration, checking in patients for appointments, scheduling, and co-pay collection. This position requires a great deal of flexibility as well as reliability. May rotate clinical areas.

Qualifications And Skills

• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation is preferred.
  
  

Education/Certifications

• High School diploma/GED required.
• High School or college degree with interest in further education related to healthcare.
• Healthcare professionals CPR certification required.
