What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing - Carpenter Technician position at Shelter Works?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read production drawings; perform QC checks to ensure proper mold setup / dimensions are correct
- Cut and fit core materials (wood / foam) to specifications
- Safely operate all tools and machinery
- Maintains tools, equipment and work area
- Solid experience with use of basic hand and power tools
- Able to read tape measure and perform basic math and fraction conversions
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Able to pass a forklift drivers test and safely operate a forklift
- Must be able to arrive on time and work a full shift with minimal absenteeism
- Other duties as assigned
