Title: Regional Manager
Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
Department: Operations
Status: Full-Time, Exempt

Position Summary & Primary Responsibilities:
The Regional Manager is the primary liaison between Owners and the company, being both a resource for and a knowledgeable expert on the properties in their portfolio. They should be able to speak to the unique needs of each property, direction the Owner and Shelter Corp is trying to take it, and be able to facilitate in the the coordination of internal and external resources to deliver on long term goals.
- Managing performance of multiple properties, portfolio consists of 11 properties
- Maintaining positive relationships with owners, making recommendations for capital improvements, insuring compliance with terms of Management Agreements, and other aspects of business to business account management.
- Assisting in training of operational staff based at properties within portfolio
- Timely resolution of complex property issues while upholding the "culture of customer service" at Shelter Corporation
- Oversight of the marketing at the apartment communities, including successful relationship building with local businesses and corporate outreach
- Excellent customer service and "can do" attitude
- Ability to remain organized, multi-task and work well under pressure
- Financial reporting, including owners reports
- Monitoring compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations
- Professional and polished image
- Frequent communication Owners and Shelter management
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned by the Senior Leadership
- Managing performance of multiple communities with multiple finance structures
Education & Experience: 8 years or more of direct or educational experience, utilizing the below combinations or similar:
- 4 years as a Property Manager or higher, AND experience managing multiple sites AND an Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management or other relatable field
OR
- 6 years as a Property Manager or higher, AND experience managing multiple sites AND an Associate's degree or higher in Business Management or other relatable field
OR
- 8 years as a property manager or higher, AND experience managing multiple sites
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent time management skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
- Ability to self-direct as well as work effectively on a team
