What are the responsibilities and job description for the Detailer position at SHELOR MOTOR MILE INC?
Motor Mile Chevrolet-Buick in Radford, Virginia has immediate openings for Automotive Detailers. Detailers are responsible for cleaning and refurbishing new and used vehicles, conforming to dealership and manufacturer specifications.
Job Duties:
- Wash vehicle exterior, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipe down doorjambs
- Apply wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surface
- Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris
- Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
- Apply agents to revitalize and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicals
- Clean engine and engine compartment
- Restore appearance of engine area, rugs and upholstery, and painted surfaces. Use dyes and other appropriate materials
- Apply dressing on tires and tire wells
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License, with driving record acceptable to company insurance
- Previous Automotive Detail experience required
