About Us
Shelooms is a boutique window treatment studio specializing in custom Roman shades, curtains, and natural fabric designs. We are a small team of seamstresses and designers creating thoughtful, beautiful pieces for modern homes.
Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Studio/Showroom Assistant to support both daily operations and light production work. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with fabrics, has a hands-on mindset, and appreciates craftsmanship and design and enjoy being part of a small, creative studio.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily showroom operations
- Welcome customers and maintain a clean, organized space
- Help prepare fabric samples and display materials
Production & Assembly Support
- Assist in assembling Shades and curtains
- Clean and organize workspace after assembly
- Support simple hands-on tasks (no sewing experience required, but a plus)
Sample & Inventory Organization
- Organize and label fabric samples
- Maintain sample books and swatch inventory
- Keep materials neat, accessible, and well-presented
Qualifications
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Comfortable with hands-on, repetitive tasks
- Interest in fabrics, design, or home decor
- Reliable and able to follow instructions carefully
- Able to stand and move around during shifts
