Primary Competencies
- Performs the duties of domestic and international shipping and receiving operations
- Operate Forklift
- Enter, maintain and monitor accurate and current inventory data in the computerized inventory system.
- Pick parts for assembly kits as required by production and sales.
- Cycle counts inventory at defined intervals.
- Pick, track and ship spare parts orders and RMAs.
- Provide best shipping method to improve shipping costs
- Maintain accurate part transactions to meet department goals.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Abilities
- Ability to coordinate and manage an inventory system and stockroom in support of production schedules
- Ability to work without close supervision
- Ability to work cooperatively with all appropriate company personnel in a total quality management team environment
- Ability to exercise good judgment and to seek advice or assistance when needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to obtain a forklift license
- 2-years or more inventory experience or equivalent industry experience
- Good work history with practical experience and knowledge of comprehensive inventory management in a light-manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager
- Willingness to learn and succeed
- Work well with others
- High school diploma
