Cashier/Customer Service

Overview We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service while handling transactions and assisting customers with their needs. Your positive attitude and ability to engage with customers will help create a welcoming shopping environment. Responsibilities Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately during transactions. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Assist in product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction. Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and services. Maintain stock levels on the sales floor, ensuring that products are well-displayed and organized. Supervise and train new staff members as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring effective communication. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a clean, safe shopping environment. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store operations is preferred. Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Familiarity with cash registers and point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele. Experience in supervising or training staff is a plus. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
