Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Gas Station Attendant. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys interacting with the community, and takes pride in providing excellent service. As the face of our station during the weekend shifts, your dependability and positive attitude are key to our success.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet every customer with a friendly attitude, process transactions accurately using the POS system, and assist with any questions.
- Sales & Transactions: Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions efficiently. Maintain an accurate till and follow all age-verification procedures for restricted products.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the storefront and pumps clean and inviting. This includes restocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the coffee/beverage stations are clean and filled.
- Safety & Compliance: Monitor the forecourt to ensure safe fueling practices and report any equipment issues or safety concerns immediately.
- Inventory: Help receive deliveries and ensure products are properly rotated and priced.
Requirements
- Dependability: Must have a proven track record of punctuality and showing up for scheduled shifts.
- Attitude: A "can-do" spirit and the ability to remain calm and polite during busy periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to interact with a diverse range of customers.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (restocking drinks/supplies).
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
