Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, maintaining quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give accurate change while maintaining balanced cash drawers.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols throughout all food handling activities.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, ovens, and other culinary tools.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, taking orders, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or café environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales management.
- Strong skills in food preparation, food safety management, sanitation, and proper handling of kitchen equipment.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy in transactions.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing register operations confidently.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication.
- Knowledge of food industry standards related to serving, food handling, and safety regulations is a plus.
