Shelgin Partners Recruiting Agency is seeking a high-performing Sales Representative for our client, a mid-sized manufacturer of fiber additives that enhance asphalt performance. This role offers a unique opportunity to sell a proven product to a diverse customer base across Upper Midwest including asphalt manufacturers, contractors, corporations with maintenance divisions, and state and local government agencies.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales across Florida with up to 50% travel
- Build relationships with contractors, OEMs, and government entities
- Influence product specification and adoption in asphalt applications
- Represent a company known for innovation and reliability in infrastructure solutions
✅ Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3 years of outside sales experience, preferably calling on contractors or OEMs
- Proven success selling to state and local government (strong plus)
- Experience getting products specified for use (strong plus)
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Self-motivated, strategic, and comfortable with travel
💰 Compensation
- Competitive base salary uncapped commission
- First-year earnings projected at $120K–$150K, with significant upside potential
