Sheley, Hall & Williams is looking for an attorney to join the firm to support a variety of complex real estate matters. From development and leasing to acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and finance, Sheley, Hall & Williams has remained focused on providing legal counsel covering all facets of commercial real estate.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, and other relevant transaction documents as well as leases, lease amendments and other leasing and asset management-related documents
- Advise clients on a variety of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, and development transactions as well as complex office, industrial, retail and mixed-use leasing matters throughout the United States
- Assist with real estate joint venture structures
- Work collaboratively with attorneys throughout the firm on real estate matters
- Serve client through the full lifecycle of real estate transactions
Qualifications
- 4 years of relevant commercial real estate legal experience
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in Georgia in good standing
- Experience working with sophisticated real estate developers, investors and owners on complex transactions, such as portfolio acquisitions, vertical development, assemblages, and funds
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage complex transactions in a collaborative team environment
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a proactive work ethic
