Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises using CCTV surveillance and physical inspections to identify potential security risks or breaches
- Monitor security cameras and surveillance equipment to ensure continuous observation of critical areas
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, coordinating with emergency services when necessary
- Manage access control by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Enforce security policies by conducting conflict management and loss prevention procedures as needed
- Provide first aid and CPR in emergency situations to assist injured individuals until professional help arrives
- Document incidents thoroughly through detailed reports and logs for future reference and investigations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in law enforcement, security, or military service is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and other security technology tools
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security protocols
- Ability to perform physical patrols that involve standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods
- Prior experience with CCTV monitoring, security operations, or law enforcement enhances suitability for this role
