Duties
- Perform tire rotations.
- Conduct oil changes using hand tools and power tools efficiently while explaining the process to customers
- Assist with vehicle inspections and diagnostics to identify mechanical issues requiring attention
- Use automotive service knowledge to perform basic maintenance tasks such as filter replacements and fluid top-offs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, tools, and equipment for safety and efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate
- Support the team with heavy lifting of tires and vehicle parts to ensure safe handling during repairs
Requirements
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is preferred
- Demonstrated mechanic experience with automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, and basic repairs
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Physical ability to lift heavy tires and parts regularly; comfort working on your feet for extended periods
- Knowledge of automotive repair standards, safety procedures, and maintenance best practices
