Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Residential Remodel Plumber to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for project coordination, understanding how to read blue prints, installing under and above ground plumbing systems, within residential remodeling projects. Your expertise will ensure that water and drain systems are functioning efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all local building codes. Duties
- Install and upgrade plumbing systems including water supply lines, drain-waste-vent (DWV) systems, and fixtures in residential remodels.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete installations and repairs efficiently.
- Conduct plumbing inspections and locations using cameras and other diagnostic tools to identify issues and ensure system integrity.
- Maintain compliance with local building codes and safety regulations during all phases of remodeling projects.
- Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other construction professionals to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless integration of plumbing components.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing plumbing systems to optimize performance and prevent future issues.
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a strong background in construction plumbing and remodeling projects.
- Proficiency in soldering, pipe threading, schematic reading, blueprint interpretation, and mechanical knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with plumbing inspection cameras, hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques.
- Knowledge of local building codes related to residential water systems and plumbing standards.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise installation work.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and performing manual tasks over extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving as needed; handyman or general contractor experience is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent attention to detail in remodeling environments.
