Territory Sales RepresentativeLocation: Territory - North Jersey, NYC, Long Island, Orange, Rockland, Westchester, Putnam, and Dutchess Counties, with some accounts in CT, RI, and MACompany OverviewWe are a Process Controls distributor with a 75-year legacy and a strong reputation for long-term customer relationships. We currently have an immediate opening for a territory sales representative to take over a well-established region covering North Jersey through New England.About the TerritoryThis position will be posted in Newark, NJ, but the sales territory includes:North JerseyNew York CityLong IslandOrange, Rockland, Westchester, Putnam & Dutchess CountiesSelect accounts in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and MassachusettsYou will inherit dozens of long-standing accounts and take over 100% of the territory by mid-2026.What You’ll DoManage and grow a large, established customer base across a multi-state territoryBuild strong, long-term relationships with existing accountsProspect and open new accounts as opportunities ariseConduct regular in-person visits (this role involves significant driving)Occasionally stay overnight in company-paid, quality hotels as travel requiresCommunicate clearly with customers—both verbally and in writing—to ensure strong ongoing supportTrain through ride-alongs with the current territory representative to learn the accounts and product linesWhat We’re Looking ForA highly ambitious, self-starter who puts customers firstSomeone who thrives with minimal supervisionStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage a large, diverse territoryA pleasant, personable demeanor—people buy from people they likeTechnical familiarity with electronics, sensors, or test equipment is a big plusMilitary veterans (especially nuclear Navy) are strongly encouraged to applyPlease elaborate on any relevant technical or sales experience in your responseWhat We OfferBase salaryHealthcareMonthly commissions from dollar one invoicedNo quotas and no shifting goalpostsNo call reports once established in the roleMonthly car allowanceGas and oil charges covered via company credit cardNext StepsWe look forward to hearing from you.
