Responsibilities
Assist experienced electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform various tasks. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems according to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Conduct basic testing with tools such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits. Help with framing carpentry tasks related to electrical installations and conduit supports. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or coursework in electrical technology is a plus. Some experience with industrial or commercial electrical work is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety procedures. Basic understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical components. Ability to work outdoors on construction sites in various weather conditions. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
