Job Description
Shelby Eastern Schools is currently looking for full-time Custodian. This person will be responsible for providing various services throughout the schools campus, such as setting up for meetings, sporting events, programs and other special events, crossing guard duties, butilding cleanliness, ordering and maintaining cleaning supplies and equipment. Candidate must be able to work alone as well as with others. Candidate must be able to solve problems, schedule and lead others in getting tasks accomplished on time. Candidate must be willing to periodically adjust schedule for special events, and or training situations.
Job Responsibilities
• Vacuuming / Edge Vacuuming
• High / Low Dusting
• Basic Building Maintenance
• Sanitizing and Disinfecting Restrooms
• Restocking Paper Products and Supplies
• Basic Floor Care
• Special Event Set-Up
• Setting up for meetings, sporting events, programs and other special events
• Crossing guard duties
• Other duties as specified by Management and Supervisors, as this list is not all-inclusive
Job Qualifications
• Must be 18 or older
• Ability to pass background check
• Must have valid Indiana Driver’s License
• Ability to be moving or standing up to 8 hours
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be willing to periodically adjust schedule for special events, and or training situations
• Self-Starter
• Must be able to work alone as well as with others
• Ability to solve problems, schedule and lead others in getting tasks completed on time
• Admirable Attendance Record
• Must be able to climb stairs/bleachers
